Lance joined GotCoders in December of 2006 and in less than two years has firmly embedded himself in all facets of the business. Lance holds multiple positions each of which encompasses a different aspect of the company, including operations, finance, legal, customer relations and business development. In addition, Lance has spearheaded strategic partnerships with several design firms, increasing revenue for GotCoders by 50%.
Lance’s educational background in business and law has served as a great foundation in a career in technology and innovation. He began his college studies at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. After earning a Bachelor in Business Administration, Lance attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.
During his first year of law school, Lance was offered a position at Hendricks Sports Management, a start-up sports-firm. While working under the guise of an agent, Lance assisted in the review of endorsement agreements with major sports apparel companies, the evaluation of top collegiate and high school level baseball players, and the strategic selection of corporate partners.
Following his 14 month stint at Hendricks, Lance aided David Cornwell—president of DNK Cornwell and a prominent sports attorney—in his representation of high profile clients.
Shortly thereafter, Lance diversified his experience and obtained a position with Massey Knakal Realty Services where he was responsible for the assessment of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s real estate portfolio. While at Massey Knakal, Lance assessed the revenue potential of over 40 properties worth in excess of $100,000,000.
After earning his juris doctorate, Lance went on to pass the July 2007 bar exam.
As evidenced by his diverse background, Lance enjoys working in small and nimble organizations that allow him to uncover insights, offer provocative ideas and enjoy a latitude of responsibilities.
